These Terms of Service govern your use of the Hazon app, operated by Digital Joi LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By using Hazon, you agree to these terms.

1. About Hazon

Hazon is a Christian devotional app designed to help you engage with Scripture through structured reading plans, guided journalling, and personalised reflection. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Your account

You must create an account to use Hazon. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information when creating your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hazon.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Hazon only for its intended purpose — personal spiritual growth and devotional practice. You must not:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the service
  • Reverse engineer or copy any part of the app
  • Use the app to distribute harmful or offensive content

4. Personalised content

Hazon uses technology to generate personalised journal questions, encouragements, and prayers. This content is generated based on your responses and is intended to support your spiritual reflection.

Personalised content is not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counselling, or authoritative theological guidance. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek appropriate professional support.

We do not guarantee the theological accuracy of generated content. Always weigh what you read against Scripture.

5. Devotional content

The devotional plans and content within Hazon are created for general spiritual encouragement. They are not intended as theological statements of any specific denomination or tradition.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Hazon offers both free and premium features. Premium features require a paid subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple or Google's refund policies
  • We do not process payments directly

7. Intellectual property

All content within Hazon — including devotional text, design, and branding — is owned by Digital Joi LTD and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without our written permission.

Your journal entries remain your own. We do not claim ownership over anything you write.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Hazon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Joi LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Hazon.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Hazon after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
